Aly - Senior Portraits - Pioneer Square / Waterfront
My senior portrait client Aly is such an amazing person. It’s easy to see how her parents did such a great job raising her because she is so kind, sweet and caring. She is my first client to bring their dog to a session which was FANTASTIC (and a bit of a challenge haha). Aly adores her bulldog Henry and having him around at her session was so fun. Everyone wanted to pet him!
My go to girl Sophia Hutch did Aly’s hair and makeup. I love the copper and pink eye and pink lip she gave her, it really suited Aly’s beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair! It also coordinated with her pink Reebok’s + sweater in her first look.
Aly is definitely a multi-faceted kind of gal and I was amazed by how many extracurricular activities she does! She is an avid golfer (her grandfather makes her a special set of custom clubs ever year! WHAT?! So cool!). She founded the Wellness Club at her school and wants to help her fellow students focus on mental health and self care in fun ways. She also did History Bowl at her school. We bonded over how much we both love the shows “The Great British Bake Off” and “Queer Eye” 💖
All in all, it was a lovely experience getting to know Aly, her mom Stacey and her brother Mac at her session. I love when family’s are super close like theirs. I am so grateful to have such nice clients!
Laura - Circus Performer & Blogger - Personal Branding - Pioneer Square, Seattle
I am SO freaking grateful to have met & worked with my incredible, badass personal branding client, Laura. She just moved to Seattle from Georgia to pursue her life as a circus performer & aerial acrobatics instructor at Emerald City Trapeze.
In addition to being a great performer and teacher, Laura is building her personal brand as a writer/blogger. She's going to start a lifestyle oriented blog that incorporates health + fitness, circus life, travel, finances, writing & more.
It's mega inspiring working with my fellow young female entrepreneurs killing the game. I love getting the chance to experience the lives of others and how many unique careers and paths we all take.
I really wanted to show both sides of Laura's life in these photos. I had an amazing time sporadically getting Laura to do sweet gymnastic tricks and poses for the photos. It was so fun to see people's reactions. How often do you see a girl do a full split or back bend in public? SOOOO COOL!
I eagerly await your blog, Laura and I hope to see you perform a full aerial show soon! Thank you for being such a fun, sweet, strong, dedicated, kindhearted person :) The world needs more people like you!
