I wanted to use the metallic tattoos I had to incorporate into a beachy, boho, summer photo shoot. Only knowing Anna from seeing her modeling online, I was thrilled when she took my offer to work together on my idea. We agreed on her outfits, put on the metallic tattoos (selectively applying them to not overwhelm her already cute collection of real tattoos) and headed out to Golden Gardens. Getting to know Anna and talking about her life's journey along the drive was awesome. She is an incredibly joyous, fun, driven woman and I am empowered being around her. Anna is involved in the fashion and jewelry industries and constantly travels back and forth between Cambodia, the States & elsewhere. We had a fun time and Anna was a total trooper as the sun set and the temperature dropped. After our shoot, she graciously invited me to have dinner with her friends at the amazing Taiwanese dumpling restaurant, Din Tai Fung. I had a wonderful time photographing her and can't wait to get to know her better.
